Our Story

Sometimes the biggest shifts come quietly. For me, it started with noticing how I felt.

Not in a dramatic, hit-you-over-the-head kind of way—but in the quiet moments. I started questioning things I never used to think about: what was in my laundry detergent, what I was cleaning my counters with, the lotion I was putting on my skin. That curiosity turned into a quiet revolution. One product at a time, I began replacing chemicals with simpler, safer, more intentional ingredients. And eventually, I started making my own.

Living in Florida, it made sense to start with sun care. I wanted something clean, nourishing, and gentle enough to use every day. That became the seed of what is now Nourish Haus.

But the story doesn’t start or end there.

In September 2024, Hurricane Helene swept through the Gulf. Despite being 100 miles offshore, the damage she created was unthinkable.

Our condo, the one my husband and I had poured our hearts into—first as our home, then as a vacation rental to build a side hustle—was hit by historic flooding. The damage was worse than anything we could’ve imagined. I remember walking over the bridge before they allowed cars back on the island. It was apocalyptic. Heartbreaking.

So many people lost so much that day. And while we were lucky in many ways, the emotional and financial toll was real. We are still rebuilding.

But in the ruins, something else started to grow.

Nourish Haus became more than a project. It became a purpose. A symbol of what it means to rebuild from the inside out. Not just a condo. Not just a business. But a life.

The rituals I began during that season of change became my anchors. I changed my shift at work to protect my sleep. I started moving more intentionally. Creating more intentionally. Living more intentionally.

That’s the heart of Nourish Haus.

It didn’t start as a business. It started as a lifestyle—something I did for myself, my friends, and my family. But over time, I realized I wanted more. I wanted freedom. Flexibility. I wanted to be my own boss. I wanted to build something that was mine.

So here we are.
